The first in a series — soon to be internationalize the DIALOGUES shall also take place in Washington DC, New York, Toronto and London — the event is an effort to generate greater understanding, awareness and to assist in bringing hope to Sri Lanka’s Youth. Prominent leaders from academia, the Norwegian Government and the local Sri Lankan community shall gather for a Dialogue! The event will focus on issues of concern to all sides, emphasising commonalities and at the same time honouring the differences.
H.E. the President of Sri Lanka was so inspired during Sri Sri’s April 2006 visit he stated, to Sri Sri ‘… visit Sri Lanka more often to share your message of non violence and peace…’
Minister Solheim, in general, is very supportive of the various service projects of IAHV and its sister organizations.
H.E. the Norwegian ambassador to Sri Lanka recently stated, that ‘…we can attend to the technical details but it is the spiritual leaders who can change the hearts of the people.’
