1. SEMINAR: BUILDING BRIDGES, CREATING NETWORKS
On 11-18 July, with financial assistance from LNU, WVN organises a training seminar for four delegates from the youth organisations World Voices Sierra Leone and World Voices Uganda, in Oslo. The seminar will provide an opportunity for the participants to learn more about administration of youth organisations, project coordination and management, conflict management and consensus building, and on how to build youth organisation networks. There will be trainers from LNU, Red Cross, World Voices Uganda, World Voices Sierra Leone and World Voices Norway
2. CHALLENGES FOR YOUTH IN SIERRA LEONE, UGANDA AND NORWAY
On 13 July, at 1300-1700hs, we invite all Norwegian youth organisations, their members and other interested to take part in a dialogue with youth from Sierra Leone and Uganda on challenges facing youth in our three countries. Special guests: B Annet Natumanya, World Voices Uganda; Gard Benda Ntegyereize, World Voices Uganda; Dominic Maada Macavoray, World Voices Sierra Leone; and Esther Susan George, World Voices Sierra Leone.
INFORMATION FOR BOTH EVENTS:
There are no costs, but we encourage all participants to contribute voluntarily towards the costs of the seminar. See attached INVITATIONS for more details. Register in writing to Elisabeth Slåttum on [email protected] by 10 July. Spaces limited – first come, first served basis.
