Private Lynndie England – who became notorious after a photo showing her holding an Iraqi prisoner on a dog’s leash – was seen engaged in graphic sex acts with other soldiers in front of Iraqi prisoners, Pentagon officials said.
Many left the 45-minute session early, missing the pornographic performance by England, after being unable to stomach the images of torture, humiliation and intimidation.
The shocking photos and videos, provided on computer disks by Pentagon officials, showed forced sodomy, oral sex, Iraqi women forced to expose their breasts and naked prisoners tied together on the floor.
She told a TV station: “I was instructed by persons of higher rank to ‘stand there, hold this leash, look at the camera’, and they took pictures.”
England, who faces court martial, has refused to identify who gave her the orders.
