He is expected to collect his father’s body from The Hague on Tuesday, has been reportedly said to be seeking a funeral in Moscow instead.
His claim contradicted a statement by Serbian President Boris Tadic, who said it was up to the family to decide where the burial should be held.
The former Yugoslav leader died in his prison cell at The Hague on Saturday.
He was on trial for alleged war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide.
